misquoted the cost for brake service 2 years ago. Brake caliper tension clip broke off at some point after service. Refused to replace the $5 part. Was almost charged $200+ for diagnosis. Was actually charged $60 to be told that the tension clip was missing (something I told them when scheduling and on arrival). After the inspection I was told they won't order this part. They'll only order the whole caliper with the tension clip included. Turned what should have been a good faith $5 part & 10m repair into a $220+ multi-hour affair.

We just bought a CX-90 PHEV from Tonkin. The manufacturer deals were amazing (over $11,000), and were ending that weekend, so we decided to buy from the dealer we were at. The car is nice! I can't recommend the dealership, though. Somewhere between I-need-a-shower-after-that sliminess and outright lies.

1) They gamed our access to information, coming back with an offer that took items off the deal, but without revealing that and without showing us the two side-by-side so it was on us to notice the change.
